Did Your District Conventions Have A Meat Market?
by Jeremy C ini was recently thinking back upon some of my unusual memories of being in the organization.
one of them was of the dodger stadium "meat market".. we used to attend our district conventions at dodger stadium in los angeles.
for those of you who arent familiar with the stadium, dodger stadium has a very large level with blue seats - which is the largest level within the stadium.

Your kids are doomed.

one thing that i got from it was that apparently (and the wording might be a little wrong) is that elders or ms will be removed if they are going to college or university.
a person encouraging another to go to college will be removed as well.

by lovelylil inon the thread about the pdf for the 2003 listening to the great teacher book, i posted about the arguement my hubby and i had over this book when it first came out.
i threw out the 2 copies my kids had and then regretted it because i think this book is very telling about the wt organization and the issue of pedophiles and child molestation.
i wanted to address what happened here too for discussion.. i am not good at copying over texts so perhaps someone else can post here pages 59-60 in this book where sexual content is explained in vivid detail using the terms penis and vulva.

if i'm wrong on thi please help me, but i think it's based on how science works n that. the FACTS (truth) never changes, only how it's interpeted. the so-called 'noo lite' is not a truth, just their interpretation. but the flip-flops aren't how SCIENCE works. never go back to a failed idea on somethig. i'm NOT defending the dubs. just clarifying. on a similar note, the dube believe the would leaders ae the 'highter powers' ut from the scripture and applying it tothe dubs, seems go is the REAL higher power and the elder n gb ae the 'other powers'or to the rcc, the pope and priests are the 'other powers' or maybe the pop is the 'higherpower' sorry for digressing a bit. basically, their idea might be sound, but reusing 'old lite' is wrong. they need REAL interpretation and just hone it occasionally. btw, the bible neer mentions 'god's org' wonder what proof scriptures the gb uses?

What turned me away from the WTBTS.... PART 1
by megawatt insigh.... wished i would've introduced myself proper in my first post here, but having the fear of being found out too quickly or not being the right time made me censored myself from revealing too much info.
recently though, i just felt the need to get this off my chest, despite the possible risk of being called out, which several jws in good standing are aware of my exact situation.
i registered at the new site (jw support something) since theres some buzz of this site is going off line, but hadn't received my confirmation email yet.
